QUICK NOTE FROM MILANO
I've been in Milano for the last week and to be honest, I feel like a fish out of water. I've quickly adapted back to the chaos of city life and have been going non-stop catching up with old friends and new business contacts.
When I take a moment to sit and think, one thing I have noticed is that I find myself trying to recreate different ways I could have changed my past. I lived in Milan for almost 7 years before moving to Palermo, and made some major life decisions during my time here. I fall into the fantasy of thinking about "what if" - what if I didn't leave my job to become a full-time consultant, what if I stayed in that relationship, what if I never became sober.
The past can not be changed. The future is full of opportunities, but let's be real - it's exciting, but still scary and full of unknowns.
It's time to stop thinking "what if" and start focusing on what I am creating. I am open and willing to try new things to get new results. The past has been perfect because it has brought me exactly to where I am today.
Back to running around, and will share updates next Thursday x
