WHAT KEEPS ME GOING

When I announced that I was quitting my job to become a consultant, many people told me that it can get lonely. At first, I chose not to believe it because I would be going on to work with different clients and we would be reaching targets together.

Guess what - it turns out they were right. While you're still part of the result, you're not exactly part of the team.

I'd like to think of myself as a major team player and I'm still getting used to this dynamic, but what keeps me going are messages like this from my clients.

(Translation: when we're done with this project I'm going to give you a huge gift. You're my guardian angel, I don't think I could have done this without you.)

What gets me out of bed in the morning? Being given the precious opportunity to dig deep into my clients’ soul and bring their vision to life.

This week, I promise myself to prioritize taking more time to celebrate victories like these to give me the strength I need to keep pushing past my comfort zone and create even better ideas.
